PayCLT is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit that has brought Charlotte's payments community together since 2009. Our members come from banking, retail, processing and fintech, along with the consultants who work across all of them.
It started with a simple problem.
In 2009, Charlotte already had deep payments talent across its banks, processors and startups. What it didn’t have was a way for those people to find each other and work together.
PayCLT started to fix that. Since then it has become a network that brings together, educates and advocates for the region’s payments community, with the goal of encouraging innovation and positioning Charlotte as a payments leader.
We’re based in Charlotte, but our members aren’t limited to it. Through webcasts, the podcast, the newsletter and our LinkedIn community, we share payments knowledge nationally.

We will contribute to the business growth within our community by leveraging our base of payments professionals to create greater awareness, support higher education and attract payments-focused businesses and entrepreneurs.
PayCLT's objective is to broaden overall payments knowledge across our community. While based in Charlotte, our membership is national, consisting of payment leaders in banking, retail, processing and fintech as well as industry consultants and thought leaders. What brings us all together is a passion for Payments and a desire to help other members and our community broaden their payments knowledge through monthly PayCLT webcasts, the Payments Hub podcast, original PayCLT content, the PayCLT LinkedIn group and the PayCLT blog.
