Powering Charlotte’s payments community since 2009.
Connecting payment professionals, fostering education, and building a thriving payments ecosystem in Charlotte and beyond.
Why we exist
To facilitate the success of our members through education, collaboration and professional advocacy. We will contribute to the business growth within our community by leveraging our base of payments professionals to create greater awareness, support higher education and attract payments-focused businesses and entrepreneurs.
Where we’re headed
PayCLT's objective is to broaden overall payments knowledge across our community. While based in Charlotte, our membership is national, consisting of payment leaders in banking, retail, processing and fintech as well as industry consultants and thought leaders. What brings us all together is a passion for Payments and a desire to help other members and our community broaden their payments knowledge through monthly PayCLT webcasts, the Payments Hub podcast, original PayCLT content, the PayCLT LinkedIn group and the PayCLT blog.
Started with a meeting. Grew into a movement.
In 2009, PayCLT held its first meeting to address a core challenge: while Charlotte has a deep pool of payment industry talent, the groups were not effectively connecting, collaborating, or learning from each other.
Since then, we have had many successes in creating value for organizations and individuals as a key network of payments professionals who mobilize, educate, and advocate for our payments community to help foster innovation and position Charlotte as a world-class leader in payments.
